TOP 10 TAIHOU SKINS

 

Here we go again – it’s a shallow dip top ten or top ten on the spot for the game designs or ‘skins’ of Taihou, my fourth top girl of Azur Lane. What can I say? Azur Lane keeps pumping out the skins! All art is fair use for the purpose of depicting the skins as they appear from the official game designs featured in the fan wiki.

Although she didn’t have quite enough official skins for a top ten – falling one short – as in other entries I’ve filled out the balance with an unofficial skin adapted from cosplay.

 

A-TIER (TOP TIER)

 

(1) ENRAPTURED COMPANION (RACE QUEEN)

 

Yass Queen! Race Queen, that is – with a Race Queen design to rival Atago herself. (Just kidding – Atago is in a league of her own, but Taihou comes close).

 

And as usual for girls with Race Queen designs, that design gets the large majority of her art and cosplay – strangely no Hane Ame cosplay but Yummychiyo rocks Race Queen Taihou cosplay as do Aqua and other models.

 

 

(2) SEASIDE DAYDREAMS

 

All bikini-ed up in her summer swimsuit skin (and you can see it straining to contain her, ah, voluptuousness) – much like her Race Queen skin but all in white and without the boots.

And also in Yummychiyo cosplay (straining to contain that Yummy voluptuousness)!

 

 

 

 

(3) FUN ON THE BAIZE (BUNNY GIRL)

 

I just can’t resist a good Playboy bunny girl skin and not surprisingly Taihou fills this one out nicely, as she does with her Race Queen and swimsuit skins. Now if we could only get a bunny girl skin for Atago?! This newest skin for Taihou shot straight up to third place with its recent addition to her skins. The pool table background is a nice touch.

B-TIER (HIGH TIER)

 

 

(4) FORBIDDEN FRUIT

 

Her formal evening wear – I just can’t resist a little red dress and stockings!

And yes – there’s Hane Ame cosplay.

 

 

 

 

(5) WEDDING

 

I do! Yet another Azur Lane girl with a wedding dress – not unlike her Forbidden Fruit skin but in classic wedding white. With stockings and suspenders!

Also – Yummychiyo cosplay!

 

 

(6) MUSE

 

One of a number of new pop star or muse skins Azur Lane did for some of their girls – where her Forbidden Fruit skin dress is all in red and her Wedding skin is all in white, her muse skin is a similar design but all in black.

 

 

(7) SCHOOL

 

Yeah – I’ll refrain from using the full title. It’s her school uniform skin.

 

 

(8) DEFAULT / STANDARD

 

Surprisingly low in the skin ranking, but unlike Atago or Prinz Eugen it lacks the military uniform design and is more, ah, kimono-esque.

Hane Ame rocks it in cosplay.

 

 

(9) PHOENIX’S SPRING SONG

 

A skimpier qipao version of her default design – the last of her official skins. Which brings me to…

(10) BIKINI & DANGEROUS DEVIL

 

Hane Ame’s bikini version of Taihou’s default skin. It sizzles!

As does Hane Ame’s devilish black lingerie skin. Azur Lane – make this an official skin now!
