TOP 10 TAKAO SKINS

 

That’s right – it’s a shallow dip list of top game designs or ‘skins’ of Takao, sister of my top girl of Azur Lane Atago and top Race Queen special mention. All art is fair use for the purpose of depicting the skins as they appear from the official game designs featured in the fan wiki.

And yes – she didn’t have enough skins for a top ten list, but as Atago’s sister and my top special mention I had to give her a top skins list.

 

A-TIER (TOP TIER)

 

 

 

(1) FULL THROTTLE CHARMER (RACE QUEEN)

 

Top spot has to go to her Race Queen skin – it may not be the sheer bikini glory of her sister’s Race Queen skin but it’s still mighty fine, particularly as a matching pair with her sister, as both have the black and white costume design.

As with Atago, most of my favorite art and cosplay for Takao is of this design – including cosplay by Yummychiyo.

 

 

 

 

 

(2) DEFAULT

 

Similarly to her sister Atago, it’s a close call but second top spot has to go to her default or standard ‘naval’ uniform. What can I say? I love a girl in uniform and it’s a good spin on classic navy dress white uniform, made racier of course for a video game girl.

Again, this is her next most popular skin for art and cosplay after her Race Queen skin – often in a matched pair with Atago.

 

 

 

 

 

(3) SCHOOL ROMANZA

 

Another close call but I have to go with another uniform for third place – her school uniform design, particularly with that midriff.

Yeah – so far it’s beat for beat the same ranking as her sister Atago’s skins. And again – I have mostly seen this in art and cosplay in a matched pair with Atago.

 

 

 

 

(4) BEACH RHAPSODY

 

Yes – it’s her swimsuit version, still going beat for beat with Atago’s ranking of skins.

 

 

 

 

 

(5) THE LESSONS OF SPRING

 

Okay, we have finally diverged from Atago’s ranking of skins. So far, Takao matched it for beat for beat – Race Queen, standard, school and summer swimsuit – but now I have to rank Takao’s spring skin next.

Also we’re back to matching places in Atago’s skin rankings, with wedding designs in sixth place (although as usual Atago has a racier skin).

What can I say? I can’t resist a good bunny girl design. I’d rank it higher but it’s not an official skin and I’ve only seen it in cosplay. Also once again we’re back to matching Atago skin rankings – which is apt, as I’ve only seen Takao’s bunny cosplay in combination with Atago bunny cosplay
