But wait – there’s more!

I’ve counted down my Top 10 Literature (by author and literary work), albeit with my preference in literature tending towards fantasy and comedy, but there’s obviously enough literature I like for my usual twenty special mentions and beyond to honorable mentions.

As I noted for my top ten, my true taste consists of literature that is really just fantasy (including SF) or comedy and that mostly persists in my special mentions. They also mostly go by my definition of literature as literary fiction, almost entirely novels and short stories, but some of my favorite literary writing is in the form of essays and observational humor or comedy – of which we’ll see quite a few entries in my special mentions.

Anyway, here are my Top 10 Literature special mentions.
